It’s official: the 2024 awards season is here! The 81st annual Golden Globes kick off the two-month-long celebration of the best of the best in music, television and film on January 7 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Last year was the first year back after a brief gap in 2022, but the red carpet did not disappoint. Honorees and Hollywood celebrities dazzled, combining elegance with sparkle in ruffled trains and vibrant tuxedos.
Now, our favorite stars are arriving outside the iconic hotel, ready to pay tribute to their hard work and talent in custom-made couture. Celebrities wore vibrant garments with delicate embellishments, from hints of sparkle to pearl drops, and sewn floral arrangements. And most proved that sequins are here to stay even after the holiday season is over.

Elizabeth Banks
Banks kept it classy on the red carpet in an all-black sequin strapless dress, intricately lined along the bodice. He finished the look with a wet and combed hairdo.

Mirren arrived in a lavender coat with a pink interior and peplum sleeves. The long garment was layered over a purple strapless garment.
