Fans are excited that Kevin Bacon has created a cocktail with a special name in honor of Simone Biles and her gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The 66-year-old actor shared a video on Instagram on August 2 of the creation of his drink. In the clip, he is seen sitting at a table, behind his array of ingredients, which he placed in his silver cocktail shaker.

“I don’t think I’ve ever done this before. I want to share a cocktail recipe with you. First, your favorite tequila,” he said as he freely poured the liquor into the shaker.

The actor said he “really doesn't measure anything,” joking that this is something fans “probably know.” Bacon then put lime in a citrus juicer and squeezed the juice into the cocktail shaker.

“I like things that are lime-colored,” she continued. “They’re all lime-colored. I like them that way.”

He then added a little chili powder to the drink, referencing Biles' athletic abilities. “Because she's fire,” he said. No strings attached said the star.

After adding ice, he added “a dash of maple syrup.” He then shook all the ingredients together and revealed something special about the cocktail.

“There’s a secret ingredient, and that’s the goat that’s been resting,” she said, sipping a mug with a goat figurine attached. Biles is called the GOAT (greatest of all time) as the most decorated gymnast in history. She has won three gold medals at the Paris Olympics, including her vault performance on Aug. 3. In total, she has won 10 Olympic medals, including seven gold.

Bacon then poured the drink into his mug and concluded: “And I call this drink the ice goat. Congratulations, Simone.” The video ends with him taking a sip of the drink.

Bacon went on to celebrate the Olympian and her teammates in the caption. “A drink fit for a GOAT… Congrats to @simonebiles and the entire women’s gymnastics team!” Bacon wrote.

In the comments, fans applauded Bacon. “It’s this kind of creativity that sets you apart from everyone else – it seems like the perfect summer drink and the goat makes it even more enjoyable,” wrote one.

“Wait [Biles] “See this and learn about your goats. This is an incredibly brilliant tribute from one GOAT to another!” added another.

A third joked: “I don’t even drink but I want to try this.”

After winning her individual gold medal during the women's all-around final on Aug. 1, Biles was spotted wearing an additional accessory at the medal ceremony: a necklace featuring a diamond-covered goat pendant.

During a press conference after the medal ceremony, she explained where the necklace came from and why. “My GOAT necklace is kind of an ode because people love it and other people don’t like it,” the Olympian told reporters. “So it’s the best of both worlds. I thought, ‘Okay, if it turns out well, we’ll wear the GOAT necklace.’ I know people will go crazy for it.”

She added: “But at the end of the day, it’s crazy that I’m in the ‘greatest of all athletes’ conversation because I’m still like, ‘I’m Simone Biles from Spring, Texas, who loves to do cartwheels. ’”
