The latest Emily In Paris poster shows Lily Collins wearing Roberto Cappucci's iconic 'Nine Skirts' dress from 1956. She paired the dress with fitted capri pants.

The first part of Emily In Paris season 4 left viewers on the edge of their seats and now the anticipation is building as the next part will be streaming on Netflix starting September 2. In the first part, Emily, played by Lily Collins, finds herself entangled in a love triangle and faces a tough choice between two suitors vying for her affection. While romance and drama keep the story alive, it’s the show’s fabulous wardrobe that really steals the show. Set in the fashion capital of the world, each episode is like a fashion show, with Emily and her team flaunting the most stunning outfits that make us want to raid their closets.

Recently, Netflix gave a sneak peek of the next part of season 4, which is set in Rome. The streaming giant unveiled a poster featuring Lily in a dazzling red dress that puts vintage fashion back in the headlines. How? Let's find out.

In the latest poster for Emily In Paris, Emily takes center stage in a stunning gown designed by legendary Italian fashion designer Roberto Cappucci, who dressed Marilyn Monroe and Gloria Swanson in the 1950s. Known as the “Nine Skirts,” this stunning piece dates back to 1956 and was so iconic that it even appeared in a Cadillac ad. The dress features nine dramatic, upturned layers that create a wow-worthy raised front hem and a hypnotic train reminiscent of the petals of a flower. With its asymmetrical hem, fitted bodice, and sleek midi skirt, it was a hit in its day. It was crafted from luxurious silk taffeta with structural elements. Emily, however, gives it a modern twist by pairing the vintage glamour with a pair of fitted capri pants instead of a midi skirt.

Emily completed her spectacular look with fabulous accessories such as small dangling earrings, elegant burgundy ballet heels and elbow-length bright red gloves. Her hair was styled to perfection in a sleek and polished updo that perfectly complemented her modern take on the classic vintage dress.

Emily in Paris is a romantic comedy-drama created by Darren Star and is available on Netflix. It follows the story of Emily, a young American marketing executive who moves to Paris to bring a fresh American perspective to the French marketing agency. The cast also includes a host of talented actors such as Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, Camille Razat, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount. The series premiered on October 2, 2020.
