Chipotle is bringing back its metallic green lipstick, inspired by avocados.
In July 2024, the Food Company united forces with the Wonderskin makeup brand to launch its lipstick, called “Lipotle”. Although the lip mask is metallic green when applying it, once it takes it off, it becomes a natural pink tone on its lips.
Now, Chipotle and Wonderskin are working together again to relaunch the product once exhausted. The “Lipotle” Wonder Blading Peel & Reveal lipstick kit will be officially available on Tuesday, July 15 at 12 pm on the Wonderskin website. The kit is sold for $ 29.
As noted in a press release on Monday from Wonderskin, the kit includes the “Lipotle” lipstick mask, which applies first. Then, “look at the characteristic green aluminum dye in 30 seconds”, or can leave it for 60 seconds if you want a bold tone.
Then spray the Wonder Blading activator, included in the kit, to “block the pigment.” It will proceed to take off “the mask to reveal its perfect tone of naked rose”, which will remain in up to 10 hours.
According to Wonderskin, he can even eat his burrito or Chipotle bowl without any “fear of staining” his lipstick in the process.
“We are delighted to collaborate with Chipotle again to bring back this limited edition tone of our Wonder Blading viral lips,” said Marina Kalenchyts, Wonderskin brand director, in a press release shared on Monday. “This association is a perfect combination of two pioneering brands, both passionate about offering exceptional quality, desirable products and building loyal communities.”
She continued: “By merging Chipotle's bold and tasty essence with the revolutionary beauty technology of Wonderskin, we have created a unique product that improves solo and shared food experiences.”
Wonderskin also pointed out in the press release that when the lipstick was launched on the National Avocado Day last year, it was exhausted faster than any other product. Since then, Wonderskin has received more than 10,000 email and comments Request to relaunch Chipotle's thematic tone.
“Fans couldn't have enough of 'Lipotle' the first time, and we listen to them strong and clear,” added Stephanie Perdue, brand marketing vice president in Chipotle. “Bring 'Lipotle' back with Wonderskin is a celebration of the passion of our communities for flavor and self -expression.”
In addition to makeup, Chipotle has other new offers for customers. This includes different menu elements such as a fall in the Adobo Rancho, which was launched on June 17 in the stores in the United States and Canada. The immersion has marinade pepper, sour cream and a unique mixture of herbs and spices.
“Ranch has become a cultural phenomenon, especially among generation Z, which is finding creative ways to enjoy it beyond the traditional salad,” said Chris Brandt, president and brand director of Chipotle, in a press release in June.
