Ben Affleck has not started a new relationship since his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

However, a representative of the actor confirmed in a statement to The Independent that these rumors are false.

Affleck is currently in the midst of a separation from his second wife, Lopez, who officially filed for divorce last week, on August 20. According to TMZ, the Scammers The star was spotted filing divorce papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court without a lawyer present.

The “On the Floor” singer said she wanted to separate her assets and debts from Affleck’s. However, the “exact nature and extent” of the couple’s joint assets are not known at this time and “will be determined.”

The former couple's divorce came after fans speculated that they were no longer together for months.
