“I’m kind of excited,” Delvey told the outlet, alongside her dance partner Ezra Sosa. “I’ve been waiting for permission from ICE to travel out of state.”

According to the scammer, who has been convicted of attempted first-degree grand larceny, second-degree grand larceny and third-degree grand larceny, he is not allowed to travel beyond 75 miles. However, Delvey was given special permission to travel to Los Angeles for the program.

“We’re making sure that never happens,” Sosa said. “If we have to get Balenciaga and Rhinestone, we will, it’s going to happen.”

While the two have yet to decide on their first looks, Delvey jokingly said that Anna Wintour was her fashion inspiration.

“I don't know,” he laughed before Sosa added, “Yeah, that's definitely an answer.”

Delvey confessed that she has never watched the show and was not preparing a strategy for her performances either. Still, Sosa was excited by Delvey's personality, which shined through in the competition, describing her as a “sweet person” who has been portrayed differently by the media.
