Shloka Mehta stuns in a Manish Malhotra lehenga inspired by Kareena Kapoor Khan's Bole Chudiyan look for Anant Ambani Radhika Merchant Sangeet
Shloka Mehta imitates Kareena Kapoor Khan's iconic 'Bole Chudiyan' look for Anant Ambani's sangeet Radhika Merchant
Shloka Mehta dazzled in three extraordinary outfits at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony, each of them meticulously designed by her sister Diya Mehta Jatia. The internet was particularly captivated by one ensemble – a peach-coloured lehenga that was reminiscent of Kareena Kapoor’s iconic Bole Chudiyan look for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Shloka and Diya dug into Manish Malhotra’s archives for inspiration from Kareena Kapoor’s famous outfit and custom-made a lehenga for the eldest daughter-in-law of the Ambani family. Diya shared pictures of Shloka’s stunning look on Instagram and wrote, “Looking FANTASTIC! We went for something fun, chic and iconic for the sangeet. After a lot of discussions, we decided to recreate @manishmalhotra05’s original Bole Chudiyan look. It was a blast.”
The custom designed peach lehenga set features a cropped blouse with a jeweled one-shoulder neckline, backless design, intricate Resham embroidery and sequins and butterfly embellished tassels at the hem.
Shloka paired the blouse with a matching lehenga skirt featuring an A-line silhouette, floral Resham embroidery, peach sequin embellishments and a floor-length hem. A matching embroidered dupatta with tassels and Resham detailing completed the ensemble.
To complement her look, Shloka wore opulent jewellery, which included a diamond necklace, dangling earrings, bangles, bracelets and statement rings. Her makeup included black eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, mascara, berry-hued lips and a hint of blush on the cheeks, all complemented by a sleek ponytail.
