Created with love, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's opulent Indian silhouettes for their haldi ceremony were designed by renowned fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, and Anamika Khanna respectively.
Anant Ambani was styled by celebrity fashion stylist Shaleena Nathani, and his haldi ceremony look included a mustard bundi and a hand-embroidered kurta paired with white pants. His mustard bundi, a marvel of resham work blooming in ombré embroidery, features intricate animal and ornamental motifs. The custom brocade kurta is further enhanced by the opulence of zardozi borders. The rich texture and hue of the Indian attire beautifully complemented his wife-to-be Radhika’s floral style.
Radhika Merchant’s haldi ceremony look is a must-have and a perfect mood board for the wedding season. Styled by celebrity fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor, Radhika’s Anamika Khanna embroidered ensemble features an elaborate floral dupatta enhanced with tagar kalis and genda flowers. The sunny hue of the ensemble, adorned with the fragrance and beauty of flowers, was enhanced with floral jewellery designed by design studio Floral Art.
Shaleena, who styled Anant for the haldi ceremony, posted a series of pictures of the happy couple in their festive best. Rhea also took to Instagram to share happy bride Radhika's special haldi moments during a series of pictures on Instagram.
A vibrant hue of love and sunshine, the ceremony was graced by a host of celebrities who joined the haldi ceremony including Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Manushi Chhillar, Arjun Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, among others.
Anant and Radhika’s wedding celebrations were a blend of traditional and contemporary styles designed by the best in the fashion world. Each silhouette has been carefully thought out to match the theme of each celebration. The celebrations in Mumbai began with the sangeet ceremony, where the Ambani and Merchant family celebrated royal Indian glamour through their luminous ensembles. The sangeet ceremony saw the couple dazzle in customised ensembles by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
The wedding will take place over three days from July 12 to 14 in Mumbai. We can't wait to see what Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will wear on their special day.
