The almighty Jenna Ortega has unveiled a spooky palette of dark yet chic design ahead of the September premiere of Beetlejuice Beetlejuicean upcoming sequel to Tim Burton's 1998 soundtrack.

With a portfolio packed with horror thrillers, it's no surprise that Ortega is attached to Burton's latest production, helping to resurrect a horror comedy from the past. Alongside original cast members Micheal Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara, as well as newcomers Justin Theroux and William Dafoe, the 21-year-old Wednesday The star will play Ryder's character's daughter, “Lydia Deetz.”

While promoting the second film in the Beetle juice franchise, the Shout The star rescued iconic looks from the first film and reinvented them with contemporary flair and high-fashion labels like Thom Browne. Skeleton-like embellishments were paired with achromatic ensembles and pinstripes galore to form a juxtaposition of sophisticated and formidable fashion.

Ortega collaborated with her stylist Enrique Melendez, who has worked with her since 2016, to put together the somber wardrobe that has seen her from Mexico City to the streets of New York. The star actress practiced method dressing, referencing Lydia Deetz in a plaid kilt and Alec Baldwin in an evening gown. Beetle juice character, “Adam Maitland,” in a structured jacket.

Ortega dazzled on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival, heading to the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere, in a deep red chiffon dress. The actress paid tribute to Lydia Deetz with a dress that imitated the character's wedding dress.

On Tuesday, Ortega landed in Italy for the 81st Venice Film Festival. Miller's Girl Lead took a page from Alec Baldwin Beetle juice Baldwin's lookbook included a black-and-white plaid jacket, a khaki miniskirt by Sans Faff, a black crossbody bag by Tod's DI, and loafers by Jimmy Choo. The ensemble was a nod to Adam Maitland's iconic look from the first film. Ortega combined luxury and affordability and took to the streets of New York in a black and white bustier by Agent Provocateur and a long black satin dress by Shop Cider. She wore a Hublot watch on her wrist, a Cong Tri jacket over her shoulders and black pointed-toe pumps by Le Silla.

Ortega was photographed smiling, arm in arm with Melendez, wearing a leather top over a sheer white blouse, a black miniskirt, sheer socks and a pair of $139 Vivaia kitten heels that resembled Chanel's classic round-toe strappy pumps.
