Adele has seemingly confirmed that she is engaged to Rich Paul after three years of dating.

On August 9, the 36-year-old singer hinted at her plans to tie the knot during her show in Munich, Germany. In a video from the concert shared on X (formerly Twitter), a fan jokingly proposed to Adele, prompting her to reveal that she is, in fact, already engaged.

“I can't marry you, I'm going to get married,” she told the crowd as she raised her left hand. Concert guests applauded in response as Adele waved her hand forward, revealing her finger with a diamond ring.

She then expressed her gratitude to the fan who initially proposed to her, saying, “But I appreciate it.”

The Independent has contacted representatives for Adele and Paul for comment.

The “Easy On Me” singer had previously sparked rumors that she and Paul, who have been dating since 2021, had already tied the knot. In September 2023, a fan proposed to Adele again during her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The Grammy winner politely declined the marriage proposal as she explained that Paul, whom she called her “husband,” was in the audience.

“You can’t marry me, I’m straight, honey,” she said. “My husband is here tonight. He’s here.”

Adele referred to herself as Rich's wife at another concert in Las Vegas a few days later, although she joked that she was “not the best wife” to the sports agent due to her lack of knowledge about American football.

“I’ve spent a lot of time trying to understand and enjoy football, because I love sports. I actually love watching them,” he told the crowd. “I just don’t understand the game, and it’s very annoying because I’m actually a pretty intelligent person.”

Engagement rumors initially surfaced in February 2022, after Adele attended the BRIT Awards wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. Months later, the “Hello” singer shot down the speculation in an interview with She“I’m not engaged. I love high-end jewelry, man!” she said.

Adele also gushed about her relationship with Paul, noting that she had “never been so in love before.” “I'm obsessed with him. I'm so in love! I'm as happy as ever. I might as well be married,” she told She.

Earlier this year, the singer candidly shared her plans to start a family with Paul. Speaking to the crowd at her Las Vegas concert in May, Adele noted that while she already has 10-year-old son Angelo (who she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki), she is ready to have a daughter.

“When I’m done with all my obligations and stuff like that and all my shows, I’m going to have a baby,” she explained. “And I want a girl because I already have a boy.”

Adele joked about her future son's qualities, telling the audience: “She'll put me in my place all the time, won't she? With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she'll be a bossy little queen, won't she?”
