AAJ KA PANCHANG, AUGUST 10, 2024: Kalki Jayanti is celebrated on Saturday, August 10. Kalki is considered to be the tenth and final incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This is believed to be the day when Kalki visits the Earth. Devotees perform special religious ceremonies for Lord Vishnu in order to remove degeneration from society and restore order.
Before performing any ritual, it is essential to check the tithi, along with the auspicious and inauspicious times of the day. According to Drik Panchang, both the Shashthi and Saptami Tithi of Shukla Paksha will fall on August 10.
Panchang August 10: sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset
Sunrise is expected to occur around 5:48 a.m., while sunset is expected at approximately 7:05 p.m. The moon is expected to rise around 10:43 a.m. and set around 10:14 p.m.
Panchang 10th August: Tithi, Nakshatra and Rashi details
The Shashthi Tithi will be in effect till 5:44 am on August 11, after which the Pratipada Tithi will begin. The Chitra Nakshatra is expected to last the entire night of August 10. The moon will be in Kanya Rashi till 4:18 pm and then it will move to Tula Rashi. The sun will be located in Karka Rashi.
Panchang August 10: Shubh Muhurat for August 10
On August 10, the auspicious muhurats include Brahma Muhurta from 4:22 to 5:05 am. The auspicious Abhijit muhurat will last from 12:00 to 12:53 pm. Pratah Sandhya from 4:43 to 5:48 am, Vijaya Muhurta from 2:39 to 3:32 pm, Godhuli Muhurta from 7:05 to 7:26 pm, and Sayahna Sandhya from 7:05 to 8:09 pm. Additionally, Nishita Muhurta will take place from 12:05 to 12:48 am on August 11, while Amrit Kalam will be observed between 10:35 to 12:24 pm.
Panchang August 10: Ashubh Muhurat
The inauspicious timings for the day are as follows: Rahu Kalam Muhurat is scheduled from 9:07 to 10:47 am, Yamaganda Muhurat from 2:06 am to 2:45 pm and Gulikai Kalam Muhurat from 5:48 am to 7:27 pm. Also, Banna Muhurat occurs at Chora from 1:55 am and lasts for the whole night.
