Zach Bryan and Brianna Chickenfry were in a 'horrible' car accident

Country singer Zach Bryan and his girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia were injured in a “horrifying” car accident, but they are “absolutely fine.”

According to podcast host LaPaglia, known on TikTok and YouTube as Brianna Chickenfry, the couple suffered a “traumatizing car accident” in the middle of the “Something in the Orange” singer's Quittin' Time tour.

The “PlanBri Uncut” and “BFFs” host didn't go into details, but said in a TikTok video posted Tuesday that the car “flipped multiple times,” “everything shattered,” and there was “a lot of blood.” and she and Bryan “thought we were saying goodbye.” She noted that they were wearing seat belts during the incident and that ambulances responded. LaPaglia said she had shards of glass on her body and Bryan suffered a “big cut” and was thankful the injury did not affect an artery.

But the two did not think about the terrifying experience. LaPaglia said he was “passed over” so they could drive to Bryan's next tour stop, in Arkansas, where the singer spent two nights at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock on Monday and Tuesday. However, he was further injured when LaPaglia's cat ran out of the tour bus and into the woods, while Bryan broke his stitches chasing her.

A representative for Bryan told the Times on Thursday: “There is nothing further to report!”

After receiving an outpouring of support from her followers, LaPaglia responded to a comment saying, “We are absolutely fine!!! Just horrible right now!!! I love you guys ❤️❤️❤️”

The Barstool Sports podcast host said they were getting little sleep and that she had an early start time to record her podcasts, struggling to be “cheerful and happy” because of what happened.

“I was so mentally out of it,” he said. “My whole body hurts and I keep finding more bruises and scratches.”

The content creator, who has been dating Bryan since last summer, lamented life on tour, noting that she had spent four months on tour with Bryan recently and that the latest stint has lasted two months so far. In a later TikTok, she said that she will now insist that people wear seat belts.

“I'm going to be that stupid fucking helicopter friend who says, 'Put your seatbelt on or the car won't move,'” she said. “If you learn anything from me… that I've posted in my entire career on social media in the last five years, it's wear your seat belt. If we didn't have our seatbelts on, they would literally decapitate us. [have] broken or dead necks.”

Bryan, the raw, rootsy singer-songwriter who has self-produced his albums, has irritated the Nashville recording industry by building a massive audience without relying on country radio for help. Embarking on his latest tour in March, the musician sweetly acknowledged LaPaglia on Instagram days after the incident.

“This lady holds the weight of everyone around her day after day,” he wrote in an Instagram Story over a photo of LaPaglia. “Throughout these month-long tours, up my degenerate ass making an album. You are my muse Brianna and I don't understand how the hell you keep it together when the people around you can't. Thank you always and always, no matter what happens.”

The “I Remember Everything” singer also shared a screenshot of her text messages and wrote, “She sends me these day after day. No matter how tired she is, no matter how she feels. She is the most loving and supportive woman on the planet.”

The Oklahoma singer is back in his home state ahead of concerts Friday and Saturday in Oklahoma City. From there, he heads to Oakland for a May 31 show at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, then is scheduled to play three nights, June 2-4, at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. .
