Pakistan's chances of entering the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup are tied to today's crucial match between Ireland and the United States at Central Broward Park and Broward County Stadium in Florida.

The Men in Green's fate in the tournament depends on Ireland's victory. If the United States wins the match, they would easily qualify for the Super 8 as they would have six points.

However, if the match fails, both Ireland and the United States would get one point each, leading to the latter qualifying for the Super 8, which is also not beneficial for Pakistan.

Fortunately, the likelihood of a landslide has decreased given current weather conditions.

The weather forecast is favorable, with only a 20% chance of rain during the match, although this chance will increase to 30% towards midday.

The match will begin at 10:30 am local time (7:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time).

To ensure that the match reaches a conclusive result, a minimum of five overs must be played in each innings. Additionally, both teams will have an additional 90 minutes to account for any weather-related interruptions.

Meanwhile, Team Pakistan will play their final group match against Team Ireland on Sunday, June 16 at the Central Broward Regional Park stadium.

As teams battle to earn a spot in the Super Eight stage, the final three Group A matches will be held in Florida, which has suffered poor weather conditions, including flooding, this week.

The first match in Group A is between Ireland and the United States which is played today. The second match is scheduled for June 15 between India and Canada and the last one will be played between Pakistan and Ireland on June 16.

From Group A, India has qualified for the next stage of the tournament, however, both Pakistan and the United States are fighting for their place for the same stage.
