Beyoncé already has an Emmy in his trophies case. “Beyoncé Bowl”, the mid -time performance of the NFL “Cowboy Carter” of the pop star, could obtain one more during the transmission during stellar schedule.
The special earned Beyoncé his first Emmy in August in August for variety costumes, non -fiction or reality programming, which he shared with the designers Shiona Turini, Erica Rice, Molly Peters, Chelsea Staebell and Timothy White. The prize is selected by a panel and was announced in advance along with other awards with jury. “Beyoncé Bowl” received five general nominations, even for choreography, production design and direction of a special variety. The winners of these categories were announced in the creative arts of last week Emmys, but so far the “Beyoncé Bowl” count remains in one.
However, Beyoncé has an Emmy more opportunity for Live Variety Special, which will be awarded during the star schedule ceremony on Sunday in Los Angeles. The special faces a series of notable contestants, including the mid -time show of the Kendrick Lamar Super Bowl, the 2025 Oscars, “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” and “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert”. Last week, Lamar won an Emmy for the musical direction in the part -time program, “Snl50: The Anniversary Special” took seven Emmys home, and the Oscars won an award.
Beyoncé's performance, the first half -weather show for a NFL Christmas day game, was filmed in 2024 in the hometown of the Houston Pop Star at the NRG Stadium, where the Houston Texans received the Baltimore Ravens. It featured to Medley of Songs from Her Most Recent Album, The Country-Infused “Cowboy Carter,” Including “16 Carriages,” Her Rendice of The Beatles' “Blackbird,” “Already,” “My House” and “Sweet Honey Buckiin,” “Spaghettii/Riiverdance,” “Levii's jeans,” Her Cover of Dolly Parton's “Jolene” and the Lead Single, “Texas Hold 'Em.” The program also included post Malone appearances, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer and Tiera Kennedy. Times's pop music critic, Mikael Wood, called the 13 -minute live production “an emotion from top to bottom.”
Although it is not alien to Emmy's nominations, this is the first year Beyoncé won the prize. He was previously nominated for “Homecoming: A Beyoncé Film”, who documented his performance as Coachella in 2018; “Lemonade”, his 2016 visual album; “On The Run Tour: Beyoncé and Jay-Z”, a 2014 HBO concert special; and for its part -time performance of the Super Bowl XLVII in 2013.
An edited presentation of the 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards is available to transmit in Hulu.
