WhatsApp is configured to adjust your voice recording function in an upcoming update, which makes it much softer and faster to use by allowing users to record voice messages with a single touch.

Some beta testers, who downloaded the last WHA Wabetainfo reported.

Currently, there are two ways to send a voice message in the popular instant messaging application of target property.

The first method involves pressing and maintaining the microphone button inside a chat. As soon as the button is released, the voice message is automatically sent if it has been recorded for at least a second.

The second method is designed for longer recordings in which users can press the microphone button and then slide their finger up to activate a blocked mode. This feature allows users to continue talking without maintaining the button all the time.

However, with the last update, WhatsApp unified these two methods in a single experience, allowing users to start a voice recording with a single touch.

Specifically, the block is automatically activated as soon as the user touches the microphone button, eliminating the need to keep the button pressed during recording. Users no longer need to slide to activate the blockade either.

The new update active the blocking instantly as soon as the microphone button is used, eliminating the need for any additional gesture and making the entire voice messages recording process feel significantly more fluid for users.

This small but significant adjustment will probably reduce friction in sending voice messages, which makes the action softer and more natural for everyone.

This change could also save time and simplify daily communication.

It is worth noting that this new behavior may seem a bit unknown to users who are accustomed to keeping the button or sliding up. However, after using it several times, most people will probably find it intuitive and efficient.

The new function is available for some beta testers that install the latest versions of WhatsApp Beta for iOS of the TestFlight application, and is being implemented in more people in the coming weeks.
