The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, will hit theaters in May
Ryan Gosling was dazzled by the recent review of his film The scapegoat.
The action comedy, starring the 43-year-old actor and Emily Blunt, has yet to be released, however filmmaker Steven Spielberg couldn't help but watch it in advance.
In a recent interview with VarietyRyan recalled: “I saw Steven Spielberg walking in my direction. I don't know Steven Spielberg. I thought there was no way he would come talk to me. And yet he kept coming closer and then I thought I knew what was going to happen.”
He Barbie The actor added: “I'm going to point at him and he'll say, 'Not you, behind you,' so I'm not going to do that. Finally I said, 'Me?' and he says, “Yes, you.” I say, 'I'm sorry, I didn't think you'd come talk to me.' And I got up and he gave me a hug and said, 'I just saw Scapegoat and I loved it.'”
Ryan went on to say that as far as he's concerned, “it doesn't matter what happens anymore.”
“Steven Spielberg liked it. That was a historic moment for me. I'm really excited for people to see it. I think it's a really special movie,” he declared.
Directed by Deadpool 2 director David Leitch, The scapegoat is based on the 1980s television series of the same name in which Ryan will play a Hollywood stuntman who works for a director, played by Emily, who is also his ex.
