“The Bear” won 10 Emmy Awards for its first season, including best comedy series, writing and directing, as well as honors for actors Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
This year, in its second season, the show received 23 nominations, breaking the record for the most Emmy nominations for a comedy series. That number makes it the overwhelming favorite to sweep the ceremony again, though there are still complaints about whether “The Bear” belongs in the comedy categories.
