Princess Kate May Take Note From How Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Handled Their Photoshop Feud
Princess Kate could follow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's lead when it comes to handling photo editing allegations.
The Princess of Wales is currently facing scrutiny over her Mother's Day photo with her children, which many picture libraries have deemed “doctored” and removed from their websites.
Kate has since admitted to editing the image herself and apologized for causing any “confusion.” However, speculation about her health has worsened following the photoshopped image.
This is not the first time a royal has been accused of editing their photographs. Harry and Meghan faced a similar situation in 2019 when they released their Christmas card.
The photo in question showed the duo sitting behind their son, Prince Archie, who was front and center in the photo. The Sussexes were behind and blurry, but Meghan's face seemed clearer and more focused, while the Duke of Sussex was completely blurred.
The Duchess of Sussex was then accused of lightening her face with Photoshop, with the daily mail stating that they had evidence that Meghan's face was “then added to her body.”

The duo's photographer and Meghan's friend, Janina Gavankar, clarified the matter with posts on social media. She first wrote: “I'm so proud to have taken a Christmas photo for one of my best friends and her family.”
He later posted the original unedited version of the photo and wrote: “Here's the original that was sent (cropped to fit IG)… and to The Mail, I see your campaign against my friend continues. Nice photoshop by my non-photoshopped image. May we all now return to the spirit of Christmas and not the spirit of malice…”
