Prince William is praised for his survey and ability to control the situation while his uncle, Prince Andrew, creates a scene.
The Prince of Wales was visibly seen telling his uncle moments after Andrew tried to make a joke at the funeral of the Duchess of Kent.
The former real correspondent of the BBC, Jennie Bon, told the Mirror: “William finds her uncle a shame for the monarchy. I think it was an illustration of the fact that when William has decided on something, she adheres to her.
“And that is in no way a bad thing. It would be hypocritical on your part that everything is fine when there is clearly tension between him and Andrew.
She added: “William seemed intensely uncomfortable when Andrew tried to talk. It was an extremely uncomfortable moment in what was a very solemn occasion.
“I think that body language showed that William is the best dog in this relationship: a future king that surpasses his uncle. Andrew has demonstrated again and again that he is strangely oblivious to how toxic it is now.”
Bond added: “I can understand that Andrew wanted to attend the funeral, but once again he showed that he has very little appreciated for how the public, and many of his family feel for him and the damage he has done to the monarchy.”
