PCB president Mohsin Naqvi wants Australian team to play series in Pakistan


Australian diplomat congratulates PCB chief for successful organization of flagship tournament – ​​Pakistan Super League

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed his desire for the Australian team to play a home series in the country when he met Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Neil Hawkins.

The PCB chief met Australia's top diplomat at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where he came at Naqvi's invitation to watch a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators.

During his interaction, the Australian envoy congratulated PCB Chairman Naqvi for the successful organization of the flagship tournament, the PSL. “The atmosphere of the Gaddafi Stadium adds more excitement to the [spectators]”Hawkins added.

The PCB chief thanked the diplomat for coming to the stadium to witness the invitational match and told him that both Pakistan and Australia are cricket-loving nations.

“Cricket is a game of peace. […] I wish the Australian team plays a series in Pakistan,” Naqvi added.
