Oscar nominations 2024: complete list

The 2024 Academy Awards nominations were announced Tuesday morning by actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid at the film academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater, beginning at 5:30 a.m. The nominations were broadcast live around the world on Oscar.com, Oscars.org and the film academy. digital platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook), in addition to airing on ABC's “Good Morning America.”

As expected, the “Barbenheimer” juggernaut dominated, with 21 nominations between the two films (“Oppenheimer” led all with 13 and “Barbie” with eight), although some key omissions for “Barbie” (director Greta Gerwig and star Margot Robbie) arched eyebrows. Both films earned best picture nominations. Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things” earned 11 nominations, including screenplay, direction and star Emma Stone. “Killers of the Flower Moon” followed with a 10, though it notably didn’t receive a writing nod.

Two international feature films, “The Zone of Interest” and “Anatomy of a Fall,” had impressive screenings, with five each, including best film, screenplay and direction. Notably, “Anatomy” was not eligible for international film; He filled that position with a nomination for lead Sandra Hüller.

Who or what was snubbed? How did your favorites do? Below you will find a complete list of this morning's nominees.

The 96th Academy Awards will be presented on March 10 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
