Netflix announced Monday that the award-winning comedy-drama Porny will come to the streaming platform.
After a successful success in Norway, the drama came to the United States to captivate audiences with its compelling story.
For those not versed, Porny is a Norwegian television series that premiered in 2021. The gripping comedy-drama revolves around Pørni, a single mother who is responsible for three children, her elderly father, and the children she meets at work.
Pørni works for the Child Protection Agency and the drama focuses on her as she deals with difficult situations in her personal and work life.
The acclaimed drama, created by Henriette Steenstrup, who also plays the lead role, is described by the streaming giant as a “lighthearted, heartwarming and relatable series with a dash of humor and, not least, chaos.”
The drama creator also issued a statement saying: “The initial reception of the first three seasons of Porny “It has been remarkably positive and I am excited for the next seasons to debut on Netflix.”
“I hope that Pørni fans will continue to tune in, and perhaps the series will even attract a new, new audience, who will be intrigued by Pørni's relatable, but occasionally chaotic and sometimes embarrassing life,” he added.
Netflix announced the addition of a six-part comedy show to its colossal library. Viewers can now find the first three parts ready to stream. However, the long-awaited seasons four and five have not yet been released.
