Meghan Markle and Prince Harry receive security warning about Montecito mansion

California police warned Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to be on alert after a criminal gang recently attacked homes in Montecito, California.

The royal couple received the security warning about their Montecito home while they were in Jamaica attending the premiere of the new biopic. Bob Marley: Love.

Security officials have warned loving parents Archie and Lilibet that they may be the next targets of an organized gang plaguing the area, the daily mail have reported.

The publication cited a statement from a Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputy that said: “Over the past week, deputies have taken several burglary reports with notable similarities in the residents' patterns, the times they occurred, and the items taken.

“In these burglaries, criminals target unoccupied residences that overlook open spaces such as golf courses, as well as creeks, streams or the ocean.”

The statement further says: “Investigators have noted that most of these crimes tend to occur between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.

“The most recent robberies occurred on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in the 1500 block of Las Tunas in Montecito, and two in the 800 block of Sand Point Lane, Carpinteria. The suspects in these cases are targeting safes.”
