Kim Kardashian speeds up work on prison reform

For several years now, Kim Kardashian has been working for prison reforms and, in light of her activism, she is said to have met the Menendez brothers, who had been imprisoned for killing their parents.

According TMZThe visit took place over the weekend at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Center in San Diego County, where the aspiring lawyer spoke about prison reform.

In addition to her, dozens of people met the inmates, including her family, Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner, film producer Scott Budnick and Cooper Koch, who plays one of the brothers imprisoned in Ryan Murphy's Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendez.

The show is based on a real-life story in which brothers said they shot their parents after their father sexually abused them for years with their mother's knowledge.

Meanwhile, the Netflix series has received the thumbs-up from Erik, who wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that I believe Ryan Murphy cannot be so naive and inaccurate about the facts of our lives as to do this without ill intent.”

His wife, Tammi Menendez, shared his message online. “It is sad for me to know that Netflix’s dishonest portrayal of the tragedies surrounding our crime has taken painful truths back several steps, to a time when the prosecution built a narrative on a belief system that men were not sexually abused and that men experienced sexual trauma differently than women.”
