Kid Cudi becomes honest on his sobriety trip

Kid Cudi is shedding how his relationship with marijuana has changed after a past of great addiction.

In a recent conversation with People, The rapper opened about his rearness to rehabilitation in November 2024, which he also shared in his book CUDI: Memories.

“I was in this place where I was abusing it,” said Cudi. “I was really abusing it. I was smoking 15 forceful a day, waking up in the morning, drugs. I really ruled my life.”

Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, revealed that he even got sober for two months before restarting him taking it in moderation.

“And now I only get it at night or on weekends when I have free time and I'm relaxing, but I'm not smoking anywhere as close to grass as smoking before,” he said.

“A portion lasts all day, very close. So my relationship has changed with that in an important way. And I am more interested in being so much more and being more present.”

Cudi added that cutting has improved his performance. “Because in this movie, I cried a handful of times and it was easy to get there because I was sober,” he said. “There is no way that I may have done this if it were drugged as s ***”.
