Katie Holmes is in a grieving phase after her fellow actor Dawson's CreekObi Ndefo, died on August 31.
His sister Nkem Ndefo announced his death and shared on social media that her brother was no more. He was 51 years old.
Remembering it, the Batman Begins The star took a screenshot of her co-star Mary-Margaret Hume's tribute to the late actor and wrote on her Instagram story: “He was wonderful to work with and such a kind man. Sending prayers and grace to his family. Rest in peace.”
Coming back to Mary's tribute, who played Obi's mother in the teen drama, she wrote a lengthy caption that read, “These words don't come easily. It's hard for me to conceive that you've left us, my dear friend.”
“You always were and always will be a shining light. What an example of pure love and tenacity you set in facing life's challenges in recent times.”
She continued: “I will cherish all the messages of love and support we have sent each other over the past few years. Rest in peace, sweet warrior.”
