Prince William and Kate Middleton appear to be aware of the difficulties their other children might face if Prince George becomes king.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, who also share Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are training their children not to feel like a 'spare part' while George comes to terms with his fate.
Royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror: “William and Kate must be very aware of the issues facing a royal couple.
“They have already shown that they have a different and modern approach to raising royal children and I am sure they will do everything they can to make Charlotte and Louis feel as special, loved and valued as George does.
She continues: “I imagine Louis will be encouraged to explore life outside the royal circle… it could be the army, but he could also work in the charity world or whatever appeals to him after finishing his education.
Bond notes: “I'm sure they will encourage him to go to university, which they both enjoyed and where, of course, they found love.”
He added: “And from there they will want him to find a life that makes sense to him and is appropriate for the son of a future King.
“They will try to make sure that he feels like he is living a worthwhile life, regardless of his place in the line of succession and that will likely involve some form of service, as they have stressed from the beginning that they want their children to understand that having empathy for others is not just an act of kindness, but is also rewarding,” Ms Bond said.
