Terrance “Ta” Dixon, once an exaggerated man of rapper Fat Joe, has sued his former employer for $ 20 million, making some accusations that could be combined with the rich and sex traffic judgment of Sean “Diddy.”
The Federal Demand, presented on Thursday at the US District Court. In the Southern District of New York and reviewed by The Times, he alleges that the poorly paid rapper Dixon, eliminated him from the promised payment for contributing to the album tracks, the authorities defrauded on his income, Dixon left in foreign countries without money or in the transportation home and is executing a criminal organization built in intimidation and violence.
The demand alleges that Fat Joe forced Hype Man, a kind of support vocalist that pumps the audience, in approximately 4,000 sexual acts with women in front of him and his crew.
The 54 -year -old rapper, born Joseph Antonio Cartagena, is also accused of having sex with girls who were 15 and 16 years old. The accusations date back to when the rapper was about 30, says the demand. Fat Joe “She's My Mama” song, which has graphically sexual lyrics, was based on what is alleged that happened with him and one of the girls in real life, says the demand.
The demand establishes that Dixon's role for approximately 16 years was more than that of the usual Hype Man. He “consistently” had duties that included co -writing lyrics, structuring hooks, recording background voices, acting in more than 200 live shows such as the main counterpart in the Fat Joe stage and the management of travel logistics, including equipment transport, safety and emergency arrangements. The complaint alleges that Dixon also acted as Joe's bodyguards and guide during the tours.
ACCORDING TO THE FILING, DIXON WROTE OR CO-WROTE TRACKS INCLUDING “CONGRATULATIONS,” “MONEY OVER BITCHES,” “ICE CREAM,” “Cupcake,” “Blackout,” “Dirty Diana,” “Porn Star,” “Okay Okay,” “No Problems,” A Version of “All The Way Up,” 300 Brolic, “” All i do is win (remix see), “” Red Café (Remix), “” Winding on Yo “,” Cocababia “and” Get it for life “.
The complaint alleges that Dixon was not paid properly for his efforts, although he says that he was promised certain property percentages and the credit documented in the songs that Fat Joe launched commercially. Dixon, who left the Fat Joe team in 2020, could not obtain certain irregularities tests until a person named “Accountant Doe” appeared last year with information, says the demand.
Fat Joe “Exercised exclusive control over contracts, budgets, tour management, licenses and credit attribution and the name of the plaintiff intentionally omitted from the notes of the lining, the publication of records and royalty structures, despite the direct contributions of the plaintiff to the creative and commercial success of these works,” says the complaint.
Joe Tacopina, a lawyer from Fat Joe, described the demand “a flagrant attack of retaliation” and labeled the accusations “complete manufactures” that his client denies in a statement to Variety. The reprisals referred to the demand for slander that the rapper filed against Dixon in April after the former exaggerated man accused him on social networks of flying to a 16 -year -old boy through the state lines by sex.
Dixon's lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, also represents producer Lil Rod (Rodney Jones) in his federal lawsuit of $ 30 million presented last year against Sean “Diddy” combs and others in the orbit of the combs, in which Lil Rod alleged sexual harassment and sexual aggression. A judge launched most of Lil Rod's accusations against combs at the end of March.
Both demands include activation warnings in the bright red type before accusations, something that is often seen in such documents.
“Fat Joe is Cans less the Tusi [pink cocaine]”Blackburn said in a statement to The Independent.” He did not learn anything from his 2013 federal conviction, “added the lawyer, referring to the four -month judgment of Fat Joe and a fine of $ 15,000 in a guilt agreement for not submitting a tax declaration in several years with more than $ 3.3 million in income.
In addition to Fat Joe, the defendants of the new demand include Peter “Pistol Pete” Torres, Richard “Rich Player” Jospitre, Erica Juliana Moreira and several companies, including Roc Nation, who are affiliated with the rapper. Dixon is asking for a jury trial.
