The Israeli military and police forces arrested the filmmaker under suspicion of throwing rocks in the FDI and the Police.

He was released a day later, with bruises on the face and blood in his clothes. When he remembered having heard “the voice of the soldiers who laugh at me,” his wife said he felt international attention around the victory of the Oscar “no other land” led the settlers to “attack us more.” The documentary heartbreaking, which became an object of controversy in Miami Beach earlier this year, documents the demolition of Israel of the Palestinian Palestinian Yatta villages and the displacement of their communities in favor of the Israeli military training land.
