Every move Ben Affleck has made has been a step closer to his impending divorce from Jennifer Lopez, especially the closing of the contract for the sale of their new home in Los Angeles.
Sources revealed to People that he Batman vs Superman The star's new home, valued at $20.5 million, is a five-bedroom property with a “private and secluded feel” and is “not trendy.”
Affleck's Los Angeles property has a “family-friendly feel” but “could easily be transformed into a bachelor pad,” the source added.
Affleck's new neighborhood also features many other celebrities from the entertainment industry residing there, which maintains a “sophisticated crowd.”

Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 55, are still waiting for a buyer to meet the $68 million asking price for their marital home, which is a 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom house on a five-acre lot that also houses an indoor sports complex, a gym, pickleball courts, a boxing ring, a private lounge and bar, a 12-car garage and a pool.
The couple, who tied the knot in July 2022, put the mansion up for sale in July of this year, a year after purchasing it last summer.
Even Lopez's decisions indicate that an impending divorce is now inevitable, as she finally sold her four-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom New York City condo (which was on and off the market for seven years) for $23 million.
These developments come after a major overture from Affleck to Lopez when he recently snubbed her on her 55th birthday.
