If you thought the residence of “No I want to go from here” of bad and for a long time ended on Sunday night, you would be wrong.
Titled “I do not want to leave here: one more”, the superstar added a show of San Juan to its concert series on September 20, and this time, the entire world is invited.
Tickets for Saturday's concert will only be available to Puerto Rican residents, but will be broadcast live for free through Amazon Music. From 5:30 PM PST the day of the program, interested viewers can see the performance in the Amazon Music application, the Amazon Music Twitch channel or in the main video.
Bad Bunny's collaboration with Amazon will extend beyond the stage. The two entities are being associated to provide a “enriched STEM curriculum, technological resources and educational support for students and teachers, as well as initiatives to help farmers and improve access to fresh products,” according to a press release. In addition, Amazon is installing a new vertical cured in its online showcase, called “local purchase”, which will attract consumers to companies owned by Puerto Ricans.
The date of the next concert is important, since it marks the eight anniversary of when Hurricane Maria touched land in Puerto Rico. The storm of category 4 killed somewhere between 3,000 and 4,700 people on the island. To this day, many Puerto Ricans continue to be full of blackouts, which often come without prior notice and generally last between six and 12 hours.
Saturday's program will be the last performance of the Grammy winner in Puerto Rico, before he embark on his world tour. He will make his first international stop in the capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo.
In an interview with ID magazine published last week, Bad Bunny said he did not include tour dates in the United States of the concerns that immigration agents and customs compliance would come for fans outside their concert places.
“There was the question of, like ice, ice could be outside [my concert]”He said in the interview.” And it's something we were talking about and very worried. “
He also made it clear that his absence from the United States had nothing to do with any animals towards his fans there.
“There were many reasons why I did not appear in the United States, and none of them was for hate, I acted there many times,” he said. “I have enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the United States, but specifically, for a residence here in Puerto Rico, when we are an uncompassed territory of the United States … The people of the United States could come here to see the show.”
