Indian extremists point to the US food chain about serving non -vegetarian foods

The members of an Indian extremist organization celebrated a protest outside an exit of American food in the Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad, demanding that the restaurant stop serving non -vegetarian food during the Kanwar Yatra.

The protesters, belonging to Hindu Raksha Dal (HRD), shouted religious slogans such as “Jai Shree Ram” and “Har Mahadev”, forced the exit at the exit and insisted that only vegetarian food is offered during Shravan's month, he reported Times of India.

Viral videos on social networks showed HRD members that the output blinds and enter the facilities while sanging slogans, urging the staff to close operations or change a vegetarian menu only for the religious period.

Pinky Chaudhary, the group leader, declared: “Our message is clear. We are asking all the points of sale of non -vegetarian foods that refrain from serving said food during the Kanwar Yatra. If they want to remain open, they should only serve vegetarian items.”

In response to the incident, the Deputy Police Commissioner (Trans-Hindon) Nimish Patil confirmed that section 163 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) had been applied in the district and that protesters violated public order.

A SUO MOTU FIR has been presented against 10 unidentified individuals under section 223 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) to challenge orders issued by a public official. The authorities are currently working to identify those involved.
