The United States is a country that has some of the most impressive examples of inventive architecture in the world, both large and small, and the majority of its skyscrapers are located in New York City.
The ten tallest structures in the US, as determined by the Collectorare listed below.
1. One World Trade Center, New York (1,776 feet)
The former North Tower of the original World Trade Center buildings, the Twin Towers, which were demolished on September 11, 2001, was the construction site of One World Trade Center. In 2014 its initial public opening took place. At 94 stories tall and reaching 1,776 feet into the sky, this commercial office building is currently recognized as the tallest building in the United States.
2. Central Park Tower, New York (1,550 feet)
Another skyscraper in New York City, Central Park Tower, is located on “Billionaire's Row” and has 98 floors of private apartments for some of the city's wealthiest citizens. Without a doubt, Central Park Tower is the second tallest building in the entire country at 1,550 feet.
3. Willis Tower, Chicago (1,450 feet)
The building's naming rights were sold to London-based brokerage Willis Group in 2009, even though many people still refer to it by its previous name, Sears Tower. At 1,450 feet tall and 108 stories, this stunning modernist masterpiece is the third tallest skyscraper in the United States and was the tallest skyscraper in the world when it opened in 1973 and remained so for another 25 years.
4. 111 W 57th St, New York/Steinway Tower (1,428 feet)
The most memorable name of this architectural marvel, Steinway Tower, refers to the famous Steinway & Sons piano store, which is located at 111 West 57th Street, at the foot of the skyscraper. Once a beloved venue for musicians, Steinway's dwindling profits forced them to sell the land to the developers in charge of building the tower. At 84 stories and standing 1,428 feet tall, Steinway Tower is the fourth tallest building in the United States.
5. One Vanderbilt, New York (1,401 feet)
The 93 stories of One Vanderbilt in New York, rising 1,401 feet into the sky, fascinated the public when it first opened its doors in 2020. The building's large observation deck, exhibition space and interactive visitor area on the 73rd floor make it a popular tourist destination in addition to housing a series of commercial offices.
6. 432 Park Avenue, New York (1,396 feet)
In 2015, 432 Park Avenue, a towering block of 104 self-contained apartments, opened its doors. At 1,396 feet, it immediately made the list of the ten tallest structures in the United States. Priced at tens of millions of dollars each, these luxurious private apartments are among the most expensive residences in the entire country.
7. Trump Int'l Hotel and Tower, Chicago (1,388 feet)

8. 30 Hudson Yards, New York (1,296 feet)
Standing 1,296 feet tall and 103 stories high, this impressive structure has been home to some of the city's best-known businesses since opening in 2019, including cnn and Warner Bros. The building is also a popular tourist attraction, featuring a clear-floor observation deck on the hundredth floor and a contemporary cafe and bar on the 101st floor.
