At this point, many Disney fans have had the opportunity to see the company's officially published images, as well as foreground photos taken by the guests to the park. There have been objections, to say at least, with many fans who show snapshots of the animatronics next to the images of a much younger Disney. It is important to keep in mind that the figure captures Disney in 1963. Disney died in 1966 at age 65.
The program makes me think a little about how the animatronic medium can be used better. Disney introduced his audio-animatronics in 1963 with the enchanted Tiki room, but raised the form in 1965 with the production of “great moments with Mr. Lincoln.” We have no filmed images of Abraham Lincoln, which means that it exists for us to a large extent in our mind. “Walt Disney-a Magical Life” contains a 15-minute film similar to a documentary, “One Man's Dream”, narrated by Disney executive and Walt Disney Co. Bob Iger, which allows us an instant comparison.
From my point of view, again, about three quarters of the road to the theater, the animatronic was a more than respectable approach to Disney. It is not perfect, perhaps, the face is a bit bulky, the cheeks a bit off, but that is because I still believe that the medium is the most suitable for more fantastic characters and creations, shows and figures that allow us to use our imagination instead of aiming to capture life. The audio, however, is taken directly from Disney's speeches, with emphasis on creative inspiration, and although it has been cleaned, there are no mistakes that it is Disney's voice.
Ultimately, Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative team responsible for the creations of thematic parks, deserves to be praised by this risk, since it has me anxious to see how audio-animatronics will continue to evolve and raise our immersive experiences. In essence, this is a robot, and no robot will directly capture human life, at least not yet, but this is as close as Walt Disney Co has arrived.
Walt Disney's animatronics figure has been in process for about seven years, according to Walt Disney Imagineering.
