Low-cost airline Vueling has announced two new routes from London Heathrow airport to Barcelona El Prat and Paris Orly, which will launch on April 7.
This is the only flight from London Heathrow to Paris Orly, which Vueling says “will offer a great value option” for travel to the Paris Olympics this summer. Flights will take place once a day.
The airline will also operate two daily flights from LHR to Barcelona El Prat, adding to the existing eight daily flights from London Gatwick. Vueling will thus operate a total of ten daily flights from London to Barcelona.
Flights are currently on sale and will operate from Heathrow Terminal 4. Vueling is part of the International Airlines Group (IAG) and has obtained seats from its sister airline BA to launch the routes.
Carolyn Prowse, commercial, client, network and strategy director, commented that the launch “has been made possible thanks to [the carrier’s] Strong collaboration with British Airways.”
