United Airlines is furthering its relationship with Welsh soccer team Wrexham AFC by introducing in-flight services.
The airline, which became title sponsor of the men's and women's teams in June 2023, is celebrating the team's recent promotion to League One with a set of Wrexham-inspired pajamas and amenities kits for travelers in its premium cabins.
Travelers flying in United Premium Plus and Polaris cabins on long-haul international routes from June 1 will receive an amenity kit featuring the Wrexham crest.
There are slight differences between the Premium Plus and Polaris kits: the former is a slim bag, while the latter is a case with a handle, wraparound zipper, and loop for hanging on a hook.
Available in red, black, or white, both reusable kits include an eye mask, earplugs, socks, lip balm, a cleansing wipe, a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, and Therabody hand cream. United Polaris kits also come with a Therabody eye serum, facial spray, tissues, and a United pen.
The airline also collaborated with the soccer team to design a set of pajamas for United Polaris travelers on flights of 14 hours or longer. The lightweight pajama set is designed to resemble the team's jersey and includes a red long-sleeve t-shirt with the team and carrier logo on the front, along with gray pants with the United logo on the hip.
