Accor will open the second UK property under its mid-scale lifestyle brand TRIBE in the coming months.
Plans for TRIBE Manchester Airport were first announced in 2020with the 412-room hotel located on Chicago Avenue within the Airport City Manchester development, approximately 400 meters from Manchester Airport's Terminal 2.
An Accor press release states that the nine-story property will be unveiled in the spring, while the hotel's website currently shows a June 2024 opening date.
Facilities will include a gym, a lounge for airport staff and an all-day pizzeria.
Accor acquired Australian hotel group Mantra in 2018, and with it a single existing hotel in Perth under the name TRIBE. The group subsequently announced plans to launch the brand as a mid-scale four-star offering.
The UK's first TRIBE hotel opens in London's Canary Wharf in 2022.

Accor will open the 262-room Ibis Budget Manchester Airport in late 2022, located on Avenida Palma, within walking distance of the airport terminals and train, tram, bus and coach station.
