Resident Hotels is preparing to open its sixth property in the UK and first in Scotland.
As previously reportedResident Edinburgh will be housed in the converted Meldrum House, an office block previously used by HMRC.
The hotel is located in Drumsheugh Gardens in Edinburgh's West End district and will feature 164 rooms, as well as public spaces including a library and lounge with double fireplace.
Resident Hotels CEO David JM Orr confirmed on LinkedIn Reservations have already been opened for stays starting September 1 through residinghotels.com.
Formerly known as Nadler HotelsThe group currently operates four properties in the London boroughs of Covent Gardens, Kensington, Soho and Victoria, as well as a 106-room hotel on Seel Street in Liverpool.

In recent months there has been a flurry of new and renowned hotels in Edinburgh, including the opening of Edinburgh and 100 Prince Street.
