The Hoxton will open its second hotel in Italy later this year, located in Florence.
Located on Via delle Mantellate, the hotel will be divided into two buildings: a 16th a 19th-century palace with its original façade and vaulted archway, and a building designed by Andrea Branzi in the 1980s with a clapboard façade, and connected by an open-air courtyard with a fountain and landscaped gardens.
The 161 rooms will be split across the two buildings, with different design schemes to reflect their location. There will also be a variety of room types, some with views of the Duomo, while others will include outdoor bathtubs or garden terraces. Guests can also choose to book a duplex-style category, complete with living room and spiral staircase.
Dining venues will include Italian restaurant Alassio on the ground floor, spread across a dining room, a vaulted conservatory and patio, and a cozy Enoteca Violetta wine bar.
The property will also house two event spaces, including a 90m2 vaulted cellar in the basement, with two connecting rooms and a bar, and a 130m2 roof terrace with its own bar. The patio will also be available for private rental.
