Scheduled to take off on June 21, 2024, the airline will operate the new route with five weekly flights using Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured with 253 seats in three classes: 42 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class and 187 in Economy Class. .
Subject to regulatory approval, flight SQ310 will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing Changi (SIN) at 23:55 to arrive in London at 06:25 the next day.

Flight SQ309 is scheduled to depart from London Gatwick on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:15 and arrive in Singapore at 06:20.

Along with four daily flights to London Heathrow, the Gatwick service will take the total number of flights to the UK capital to 33 per week.
SIA also operates five weekly flights to Manchester (MAN).
“London has always been a very important market for Singapore Airlines Group,” said Dai Haoyu, acting senior vice president of marketing planning at Singapore Airlines. “With the introduction of this new service to London Gatwick Airport, Singapore Airlines customers will have an additional flight to choose from when flying between Singapore and the United Kingdom. “It also opens up additional travel options to other points in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.”
Tickets for SIA flights to London Gatwick will be progressively available for sale through various distribution channels from December 19, 2023.
