Lounge operator Collinson has enhanced its partnership with Singapore Airlines to give businesses in the airline's HighFlyer program access to LoungeKey Pass.
HighFlyer is Singapore Airlines' business travel rewards program, offering businesses preferential airfares and the option to earn HighFlyer points when their employees travel for work. These points can then be used for future travel or to access rewards, including the new LoungeKey Pass benefit.
The Collinson LoungeKey Pass is a digital voucher that can be used to access an airport lounge or travel experience without membership, registration or a physical card.
Businesses across all four membership levels of SIA's HighFlyer program will now be able to redeem one LoungeKey Pass for every 8,000 HighFlyer points earned in the business's account.
These companies can then reward individual employees with the pass through their HighFlyer account, granting them access to more than 1,500 airport lounges and travel experiences (such as spa and sleep pods or dining deals) in 145 countries. This includes the Marhaba Lounge pictured at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3.
Startups that sign up for the HighFlyer program can also redeem a pass as a reward, as long as they meet a net flown spend threshold.
Todd Handcock, global commercial director and president of Asia Pacific at Collinson International, commented:
“Global business travel spending this year is expected to exceed 2019 levels, resulting in many employees taking to the skies on behalf of their organizations. Our research has shown that today's consumers highly value the benefits and rewards associated with travel. In turn, providing access to airport lounges and travel experiences as part of a broader corporate travel proposition is an ideal way to support the wellbeing of business travellers; helping them feel supported and valued by their employer while they are on the road.”
Collinson recently published research showing that British travelers spend between £300 and £350 annually at airport departure terminals.
