Scandinavian Airlines adds flights to Atlanta to summer 2024 schedule
Dark/light mode (01/17/24) Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has revealed plans to add a ninth destination to its North American network during the upcoming summer 2024 schedule.

SAS will operate the CPH-ATL flights using Airbus A330 aircraft.
In summer, SK929 is scheduled to depart CPH at 1:10 PM and arrive in ATL at 7:00 PM. From ATL, flight SK930 is scheduled to depart at 17:10 and arrive at CPH at 10:20 the next day.

SAS will also increase frequencies to the US this summer. The Copenhagen-New York (JFK) route will have up to two daily flights, complementing the existing daily flights to New York-Newark airport from Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. Flights from Copenhagen to Boston will operate daily, compared to six times a week during the summer. In addition, a fourth weekly flight from Copenhagen to Toronto will be added.
“Through an agreement with Delta Air Lines, passengers can continue their travel at other destinations served by Delta outside of Atlanta. “This development means an expanded offering for SAS passengers, who can expect to reach several new and exciting destinations in the southern US, the Caribbean and Latin America, all conveniently accessible from Atlanta,” said the president and CEO. from SAS, Anko van der Werff.
SAS signed a codeshare agreement with EL AL Israel Airlines in early June 2023 that will come into effect in February. The airline also signed a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways in October, expanding its partner network.
