Chelsea Townhouse has joined the Relais and Chateaux collection of luxury hotels and restaurants as its second member in London.
The 36-room boutique property opened in September 2023 following an extensive transformation of the former Draycott Hotel, and is a sister property to current Relais & Chateaux member, 11 Cadogan Gardens.
The property is set in three red brick Victorian houses and is also part of the Iconic Luxury Hotels collection. For more information, see:
The Chelsea Townhouse boutique hotel opens its doors
Relais and Chateaux was established in France in 1954 and now has more than 580 member hotels and restaurants in more than 60 countries.
Relais & Chateaux will celebrate its 70th anniversary in May. Earlier this month we visited its first UK member, Chewton Glen in the New Forest, and will publish an interview with Relais & Chateaux president Laurent Gardinier in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
The luxury hotel association has also welcomed 11 additional members to its collection, including:
