Radisson Hotel Group has announced plans to introduce its serviced apartment offering to the UK, with a newly built property in Glasgow city centre.
Radisson Hotel & Serviced Apartments Glasgow will feature a mix of hotel rooms and extended-stay apartments, as well as a ground-floor restaurant, rooftop bar and lounge, gym and meeting space.
The property is scheduled to open in 2027 on the site of a former warehouse building at 90/96 Maxwell Street and 40 Fox Street, with some rooms and spaces benefiting from views of the River Clyde.
Radisson Hotel Group opened its first extended stay property in Western Europe in 2021. located in the Amstelveen area of Amsterdamand last year it unveiled the Radisson Hotel and Suites Zurich, located in Opfikon's Glattpark district, between the city's airport and the Messe Zurich exhibition hall.

Commenting on the news, Adela Cristea, vice president of business development for the UK, Ireland and Nordics at Radisson Hotel Group, said:

Major hotel groups are increasingly focusing on the extended-stay market: Hilton introduced its LivSmart Studios brand in January and Hyatt and Marriott It also introduced new extended-stay concepts last year.
