Radisson Hotels Group has announced plans to add the first property under its Radisson RED brand in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
The group's existing Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18 – which opened its doors in 2011 – will undergo a “fun reinvention” before changing its name to Radisson RED Bangkok Sukhumvit 18 in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The property currently features 125 rooms, a fitness center, a rooftop pool, and food and beverage options including Mezza Restaurant and Sway Rooftop Bar.
Radisson said the rebranded hotel would offer redesigned rooms with “super-comfortable RED beds, power showers and cutting-edge technology including high-speed Wi-Fi and smart solutions.”
The Radisson RED brand launched in Brussels in 2016 and currently has a portfolio of around 25 properties around the world, including five in the UK.
Radisson has recently announced several conversion properties for the Radisson RED brand, including The former Marriott hotel at London's Twickenham stadium.and the Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm – a repositioning of the group's Park Plaza Berlin Kudamm.

Radisson Hotel Group currently operates four properties in Bangkok: Radisson Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit, Park Plaza Sukhumvit Hotel, Bangkok, Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18 and Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Bangkok.
The Radisson RED brand will make its debut in Thailand ahead of Bangkok's repositioning, with the upcoming opening of Radisson RED Phuket Patong Beach.
