Qatar Airways resumes flights to Lisbon

Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of year-round direct flights to Lisbon, adding six weekly flights to the airline's summer schedule. This new route offers passengers seamless connectivity to more than 170 destinations around the world, including 47 in Europe. The airline will operate these flights between its award-winning hub, Hamad International Airport (Doha), and Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), catering to the high seasonal demand of this popular tourist destination.

Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways, expressed his excitement about the network expansion, saying: “As we continue the expansion of our network in the European market, we are delighted to welcome Lisbon back to our global network of more than 170 destinations. “This addition reaffirms the airline’s dedication to connecting people and places, making international travel more accessible and convenient across our global network.” Lisbon's picturesque beaches, cosmopolitan cities and UNESCO World Heritage sites make it an attractive starting point for exploring Portugal's rich cultural offering.

The latest addition to Qatar Airways' extensive network, Lisbon is the 47th European destination served by the airline. This route not only improves travel options for passengers but also opens a new entry point for international travel from Europe to the Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent. Popular destinations for travelers from Lisbon include Bali, Bangkok, Delhi, Denpasar, Kathmandu and Male.
