Premier Inn opens hotel in Cork city center – Business traveler

Premier Inn has opened its first property in the Republic of Ireland outside of Dublin.

The newly built Premier Inn Cork City Center It was first announced in 2019and is located on Morrison's Quay overlooking the South Channel of the River Lee, on the site of the former Moore's Hotel.

Features include 187 double, twin, family and accessible rooms, as well as Thyme Bar and Grill.

The opening brings Premier Inn's portfolio to more than 1,000 rooms in Ireland, joining five Dublin hotels, including the 113-room Gloucester Street South property that opened last year.

The group also operates eight hotels in Northern Ireland, including three in Belfast, and locations in Carrickfergus, Lisburn, Bangor, Coleraine and Londonderry.
