Pegasus Airlines launches flights between Istanbul and Bratislava, Slovakia
Dark/light mode (05/16/24) Pegasus Airlines has started flights between Istanbul and the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava.
The airline operates the new direct service between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Bratislava MR Štefánik Airport with two flights per week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
“We are delighted to launch a regular service connecting Bratislava and Slovakia with the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul, marking our 100th international route,” said Emre Pekesen, Group Director of Network Planning and Sales at Pegasus Airlines. We also hope to launch flights between Bratislava and Antalya from May 18, 2024 for the summer season. “We would also like to thank the management of Bratislava Airport for their exceptional cooperation.”

On Wednesdays, flight PC411 is scheduled to take off from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) at 11:55 and arrive at Bratislava MR Štefánik Airport (BTS) at 13:05. From Bratislava, PC412 is scheduled to depart at 14:00 and arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 17:15.
On Sundays, flight PC411 is scheduled to take off from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) at 10:20 and arrive at Bratislava MR Štefánik Airport (BTS) at 11:30. From Bratislava, PC412 is scheduled to depart at 12:30 and arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 15:45.
“Thanks to these new regular flights to Istanbul, Bratislava has a connection with an airport that is a hub, thus offering the possibility of transfer connections, for example, to Cappadocia, Kuwait or Georgia and other destinations within the network of Pegasus Airlines,” said Dušan Novota. , Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of MR Štefánik Airport in Bratislava. “The year-round scheduled route to Istanbul will be joined by the airline's direct route to Antalya along with other scheduled and charter flights to (and from) Antalya, so this year we expect the highest number of passengers to date fly from Bratislava to Türkiye.”
