Norse Atlantic cancels routes from Gatwick to Boston and Washington for summer 2024 – Business Traveler

Norse Atlantic Airways has confirmed that it will not resume flights from Gatwick to Washington DC and Boston this summer.

The routes were inaugurated in June and September 2023 respectively.but they were suspended for the winter season, and There was uncertainty about whether flights would restart this year..

The carrier has now confirmed business traveler that none of the routes will resume, with a spokesperson stating that the decision had been made “following an assessment of current demand which was lower than anticipated”.

The airline added that “that is why we have decided to focus on other routes between the United States and Europe next summer.”

Gatwick-New York JFK will increase to up to two flights per day during the peak summer season, and Norse will also operate a seasonal Athens-JFK summer service between May 30 and October 26 this year.

There has also been speculation that the airline will launch flights between Gatwick Airport and Las Vegas this summer, but Norse Atlantic said business traveler that “Despite reports, we have no plans to launch services to Las Vegas at this time.”
