Marriott International has signed a franchise agreement with West F5 Investments to open the new Marriott Marquis Dubai within the Jewel of the Creek complex in Dubai.
Scheduled to open in March 2024, the hotel and serviced apartments form part of the first phase of the new destination developed by Dubai Developments.
The property, leased by West F5 Investments, will be operated by Dubai-based independent hotel management company Aleph Hospitality.
Marriott Marquis Dubai will comprise 590 rooms and 434 rooms and suites, as well as 156 serviced apartments.
The property will feature business and leisure facilities including six food and beverage outlets, conference and meeting facilities, a business centre, gym, spa facilities and swimming pools in each tower.
In addition, the development will include a large commercial area with a promenade on Dubai Creek and a marina with 85 berths.
The Jewel of the Creek mixed-use hotel complex is situated on the northern shore of Dubai Creek. It is located a short distance from Deira city centre, Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club and City Center Metro Station, as well as a short drive from Dubai International Airport.
